Weathering paint question Empty
PostSubject: Weathering paint question   Weathering paint question Icon_minitimeSat Jan 04, 2020 9:39 pm

I haven't received my HL Panzer 3H tank yet. But when I do I'd like to paint it. Can someone show me or explain white and black washes on a khaki coloured tank? I should use both right? Black to highlight cracks and white to make it sun bleached looking? Or should i go a little lighter like a brown for cracks? This will be my first tank painting, i will be using rattle cans and brushes and I don't want it looking cheesy or too toyish. Any advice is appreciated.

Go to youtube and you will find endless tutorials on how to weather tanks. You can even get specific and search 1/16 tank winter camo and something will probably come up!
