So, as the title says, has anybody heard anything about what is going on?  I don't know about anybody else, but I'd kinda like to start making some plans here...

Yes, it is going to go ahead but will be scaled down quite a bit. It is still being planned as a weekend event.

So, I guess the next questions are:

1. What day should those bringing RC tanks be showing up; and

2. Will there be a discount?

We have not discussed going as a club in an official capacity yet. We want to wait for the official announcement. 
As far a discount goes, this museum like all others around the world has been suffering from a lack of attendance and funds due to the COVID crisis. We WILL NOT be asking for nor expect to receive a discount for attendance this year.

Fair enough - as soon as we've got the day set to bring our tanks, just get tickets the way everybody else does...gotcha.

Not what I said. We have not decided if we are going as a club but that will be discussed in the next month or so. We are awaiting an official invite from the event. That is the formal announcement.

It had better happen this year! Need my annual full scale armour fix.... I'm in withdrawal.

Hopefully, we'll be allowed to be there for the weekend to do our RC tanking... Again, who knows what the COVID induced regulations/restrictions will be by then. (I'm pretty sick of them all right now!)...

Well, I've been waiting months since getting into this hobby to be able to at least drive my tank in some sort of proximity to other people's tanks, so here's what I'm going to suggest.

If it turns out that no club invitation is issued, I will show up on the Saturday with my tank(s).  Anybody else is welcome to join me.*  Worst-case scenario, we find a nearby field between the museum's mock battles with the real ones and drive our tanks around.  It may not be as good as a club event, but at least it will be something.

*Obviously, some coordinating among those who know they will be coming will have to take place in advance.

I would assume that there will be tankers around whether it is an official club event or not. The only other issue is that if there is no club set-up thru out the weekend then you need to find out which day folks will be there as it is usually a three day event.

wow, glad everyone has some patience...

I think by that time we should be OK to go. If they do a show I sure we will be asked to attend , no use doing a half show. My buddies in the southern states are doing full on car shows with no plague problems and minor restrictions... use you brains , wash your hands, wear a mask when asked or you find it necessary, keep your distance. 
They have some BIG car shows during  June in the US, curious to see how that goes. I will keep a positive out look for the Tank show outcome.
