Got this beaut of a custom build from Ren on a trade (For a RC4WD Beast II NIB kit that I got from another trade that I was not going to build or keep). Apparently Ren is getting into military trucks now......... 

Anyway, back to this custom piece based on a Ludwig kit which means you have to improvise on almost all the details. Ren did a great job putting everything together, of course I promptly broke the Heng Long rotation set-up. I then decided to put in barrel flash and also a servo rotation which is limited but the rotation is much more stable and controllable. So now only moves left right 15% or so but rock solid and realistic speed for this large gun. It is a great runner, so I might make it battle ready so can go tank hunting in the field this year. I will also get a crew and more gun details for this weapon carrier, one loader from the new Takom PzI based PanzerJeager (which is only $100 CDN !) and two from Carson's new Nashron kit. Can't afford the tank yet but will get the crew, a loader and a gunner.

That is cool and another piece of armor I never knew existed until just now. Glad it will be on my team most of the time

Don't think it ever existed other than in the German Designer's mind, like many other things. Even the one that was on the drawing board was based on 38T bogies and sprockets, so Ren took some liberties there. There is also one very similar I think it is based on the E-100 lower so more like KT bogies.

Trumpeter has a kit for it in 1/35. 

Also forgot Ren has a Tk-40 in it with S-bus which I don't use, so if anyone is looking for a Tk-40 S-bus only please let me know and will part with cash consideration.

That looks really nice. Going to be interesting to see it running around the field. Those figures are really nicely painted. I need to find some for the Sturmtiger as it crying out for a diorama now I have it's shells

It will be a nice runner. Everything Ren touches runs better. The Churchill, the T28/95 all ran better after he got his hands on them. This one you can tell just from the sound it will be fine......... I make a custom apple mount for it so it will be able to battle.

I have to disable the limited traverse because the gunner gets caught but I can disable if I needed to.

The crew really completes it.

Just needs a pail hanging off it!
