Been working on my first RC tank for a couple of months and thought it may be of interest. It started out as a basic HL with steel gearbox. I have since added metal drive sprockets with track guides, metal idlers with bearings, drive shaft bearings, slip ring for 360 turret rotation, coaxial FPV camera and laser, DGS IR system (modified to work with 360) and mud/sand clearing holes drilled in road wheels. Just waiting for some antennas now and trying to figure out decals before giving her some light weathering and dull coat. Lots of fun and can't wait to do battle with my buddies! I'm keeping the plastic tread until I see some evidence of the steel ones improving performance - she's for go not for show!Challenger 2 Thumbn12

I was wondering what you meant by sand clearing holes.

Looks great! Very nice! Hopefully at some point you can make your way to Waterloo for a battle or 2!
