I went to a hobby shop today with a freind to check out some planes with him. While we were there, I noticed that yjry had several tanks on the shelf they were selling. While most of them looked like HL but there was at least one other brand there too. They are mostly into planes but they had at least 1/2 dozen tanks.

They are Skycraft hobbies in Hamilton on Plaines Road. (905-631-6211) Good size store with lots of supplies, like tools, radios, batteries...etc. We probably should get a flyer to them to see if they will post it up.

I might also suggest we make some business cards for the club as while I was there, I was hand writing the web site name for a few people who were interested. Would have been much better to hand a card over.

Now, only if we knew someone who could make us cards....nudge, nudge, wink, wink... I'd be happy to pay for them.

Could be quite possible I was blind and didn't see it. I do know that the salesperson I talked to, had no idea about the club.

When the region formed 30 years or so ago:
Black Creek, Douglastown, Stevensville, Ridgeway, Crystal Beach, Fort Erie, Bridgeburg and Ambigary all became " Fort Erie"

Who would have guessed, if not someone had better advise the Fort Erie counsel rep that his house is in the wrong jurisdiction.

Just a thought here Wayne... I know when I go traveling anywhere outside of the Niagara region, especially the U.S., I tell people I live in Niagara Falls to give them an idea of location. No one would know where St. Catharines is let alone Fort Erie. So although I understand it may not be technically Niagara Falls, the google map says Niagara Falls and it also would make people identify with it easier, don'tcha think ?
