| I think I sold my version 1.0 of this to the US of A, so here is version 2.0. MK Modellbau took all the Junkenburg molds. Quality has mostly gone to shits. I can't get myself to use the fuel tanks so have to wait for some Heng Long replacement. There is basically no way to make the hinges to be operational, so will glue some of them shut, and will leave the one for the TBU loose just sitting on top. The slopped back plate is basically the same as before, so shitty already. Decided to cut the original one and bended it into shape with a heat gun. Still have to figure out how to do all the rails. My soldering skill will be tested. Sitting on a Torro/Tiagen all metal KV lower with late bogies. Also added a battleground 3D printed Dshk36 just for fun. The muzzle break is big enough that I can use the Heng Long flash LED strip and put the IR bulb in there as well. The 3 piece metal barrel is much improved with a nice recoil sleeve. Also finally figure out why it never quite look the same as the real one. I think unfortunately the height of the casement is between a SU-152 and an ISU-152. Oh well. Only game in town. I like the ISU-152 also, but damn it this is the SU-152. |

| Mike, don't you remember it? You sold it to me... it seams to be the same like mine, no barrel recoil and non functional hinges. I'll bring it to the next meeting to compare them. |

| Did I ? Oh well. It should have barrel recoil. I think you mean there is no barrel elevation. I thought there was functional hatches on 1.0 for the apple at least.
1.0 was a Junkenburg mold though. |

| The MK Modellbau IS3 kit is what I got. It is also why I still havn't finished it. I was warned about the resin quality. For the top hatches I fit in some small brass hinges from doll houses. Being Russian brute force, it kinda fits in. Ha haa. That barrel look killer! _____________________________________________ You may be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! - Death

| You're right, it has barrel recoil but no elevation. The hatch for the apple broke and I attached it with small magnet. like that idea to make them workable with doll house brass hinges. Way to go... |

| Yes except they have funky hinges for their hatches, just like their funky rails. Not like anything else. |

That barrel look killer! That barrel is the star of the show. Three pieces, muzzle brake slides off, the second section screws on. They should all be like that......... |

| Mike, that barrel is so big I’m thinking you could add a barrel smoker although I’m not sure there’s enough room in the casemate for it. |
