Came across this new on-line game.
Heroes & Generals

The game has two parts .
You can be a General and plan the attacks/defend and manage the resources.
Or you can be a solider carrying out the missions planned by the Generals.

Each battle effects the outcome of the war which can take up to a month or more. Then stars all over again.

Ive always wanted to see a game concept like that! Looks really cool

Tried out the game out, took a little to get use to it. The game has a little bit of everything in it.

Real fun using grenades, everything goes flying! Attacking enemy airplanes are a pain in the a$$.
My guy got hit by a Messerschmidt, and got thrown overall small stone wall, ouch!

I can't figure out how to get INTO combat. Seems the buttons are all broken, I watch people play, and can't get in.

Or its ALWAYS full, the matchmaking is completely bunk.

It still a work in progress. It took me a while to figure out how to get in, until I realized that when you launch a mission that it open up in a different window underneath the one you are on.
Also try to choose missions that are green or yellow, it will run better.

I have aways loved C&C from the first version.( Ex wife said I loved it more than her ........maybe ) This looks like the next step up. will check it out

I have to use the consol in game to tweak my network settings to get it to work, a developer explained it to me and it works fairly well now.

Sometimes my character gets locked, and I don't really know why... I have 2 accounts now and switch between them when things go wonky
