| What did you use to set the rust? Just a mat varnish? _____________________________________________ King Tiger, Sherman. All under construction. Now also T34/85 |

| Ok. Great. Thank you. I will give it a try. That's probably why i couldn't match the effect on the T34. _____________________________________________ King Tiger, Sherman. All under construction. Now also T34/85 |

Greg, do you use this as a flat coat or a sealant ? Does it chemically melt anything ? |

| I've used that too and it's not bad, it adds a matte finish.
I thinkkkkk I've had it bubble on me a tiny bit but I cannot be sure. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| i use it on my whole tanks to seal it but this tank was already done with the clear coat before. To add the rust i sprayed some of the clear into a small container i dipped my brush in it to wet the brush and then dipped it into the rust and then applied it to the tank _____________________________________________ |

| Greg so you use this as the flat finishing coat after everything is done ? It will be a lot cheaper than buying clear flat sprays from Tamiya or Testor. |

| yes i use it on all tanks just make sure it is the clear and not the one with the green tint in it i know Glen uses it to he is the one the first suggested using this as a flat clear for the tanks _____________________________________________ |

| I just went out and got some. Sprayed it on a cut out battery box piece and so far no adverse effects on the plastic at all. Will see again in a couple hours. I would say though i would think it would have done something by now if it was going to since it is dry _____________________________________________ King Tiger, Sherman. All under construction. | I am not worry about unfinished plastic. More worry about decals and also acrylic painted surfaces. Will give it a try on something I don't care much for and see what happens. |

| well have 2 coats on the tank and it did not bother the paint or decals. Just did not give me the effect that i was thinking it would. Beginner here thought it was going to give me that dusty look. at this point it still looks the same _____________________________________________ King Tiger, Sherman. All under construction. | I only expected it to give a flat coat overall. If you want dusty look you might want to use Buff diluted on air brush or Testor has a spray can called Smoke. If you are not good at weathering like I do, Tamiya's paint master kits are great. You do heave to seal it after you are done, with the aforementioned frost window spray. |
