any of you build one of these pains in the butt suspension is driving me crazy anyways i was going to post some pics but my USB Stick fell in the water i clean my brushes in finally got it to work so i'm copying all the files when it is done i'll post the pics where i'm having a problem with

ok first pic had to take off nut and put spring but can't for the life of me get it back on with a lock washer hope it will be ok without anyone know and for the last pic what the heck is this right need help after this suspension is done i'm sure it's a piece of cake ...i hope HELP going to check youtube see if there is anything

Greg I sold mine to Ren already so can’t tell or remember what I did, but I know that if you follow the instruction for the first and last road bogies, they will be more jack up then the rest so you shouldn’t follow instructions on those ones and just make sure they are all leveled. I think I skip mounting the secondary arms to make sure it is leveled with the rest of the bogies.

I have built one and I am now in the process of building another one.
Looking at your assembly manual front page, bottom left does it say 2012 or 2016 ?
There has been 2 production runs the first one was terrible for fit and instruction.

Look at page 18 top picture, blow up of the washer,lock washer , nut and machine screw on one side of the casting do not show lock washer on other side where the spring attaches.

Look at page 19 middle of page, 2 blowups, both show right hand machine screw attached with lock washer and nut as shown on page 18 and looking at the right hand blow up with out lock washer.
The nut goes on top of the spring loop.
I added Gorilla Super glue to the nut connection on both my tanks.
It holds well and I know that I can break it loose if I have to.

I am building the second one because the first one is a great runner in battle but it was terrible to build, parts did not fit, or broke easily, every time I use it something breaks off or comes loose.
Back when I built the first one I posted on this site that a beginner should not try to build this tank he would become discouraged.

I dont have any pictures but I mounted those arms on Mike's old T55 and their fully functional and it sits level. It looks like you have them mounted correctly though but I'm at work so cant check my t55 for you.

 Tank is on my shelf atm and waiting a rebuild/repaint once I've finished my other builds.

Such a nice looking tank........ I don't think you need to rebuild/repaint.......

hmmm mine are not level i hope i don't have to take it apart again......Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr these instructions suck

I told you so. If you follow the instruction it will NOT be leveled.

how the heck are they suppose to go the middle ones have to go up to be level they are hanging lower than the four with the two rear ones and two front ones

The problem is not the middle ones. It is the end ones at the front and the back. If I remember correctly if you don't mount the secondary arm on the front and back bogies it will be levelled with the middle ones.

Yes, I don't think I mounted them on mine in order to keep all the bogies leveled, but it looks like Ren has it mounted and working. I think on the real thing it is suppose to act as track tensioners, but in the kit it just pull the front and back bogies to far up. Perhaps if there was more weight then it would push them down, but otherwise the damn things runs off the middle three bogies on each side.

wonder what Ren did i went with the HL T-34 mod and shimmed the suspension

been trying to get this done put it away for a while all i get are problems with it instructions SUCK

Instructions show that the motor screws down to the plate with the two cutouts. That plate is glued in place.

Is this the old kit or the new kit ? I heard that the old kit is POS but the new one is much better. I built the new one, not great and can't imagine what the old one was like.

If you use GOOP or Gorilla glue it will hold no problem...
