However much I would like to be there the whole time, I still can't plan that far in advance yet. With luck Cindy and I can be there Saturday but will not be staying over night.

Are you meaning a room with 2 separate bedrooms? Or two beds? If the first, I do not think so?
They definitely have rooms with two beds.

Yea Mike.  That's what I thought.  That was a stupid question on my part.  I know our grandson, who just joined the Reserves and wants to serve in the artillery, was interested in attending, but for now nothing is for sure except us (Oksana and me) for King room - accessible for Thursday June 2 to Saturday (check-out Sunday).  If he can make it for one day and wants to sleep over we do have that pull-out.  Thanks Mike

Hey Mike.  Regarding Aquino, have you given any thought to a cut off date for the hotel reservations, having everyone on the same floor (if possible), etc?   Has any more thought been given to using 1:25 scale tanks for the kids, like Mike C had suggested with the 1:30 scale as advertised by Tank Legion in Malaysia.

I am going to start my inquiries into rooming this week. As I have a listing of people interested in rooms. I always endeavour to have us together, but not always possible.

As for alternate scales, I have zero input into those as I have none.

June rates on Expedia. $278 CDN / night (No breakfast)
Sept rates on Expedia. $161 CDN / night (No breakfast) This was the timeframe last Aquino

LaQuinta is $152 per night.

Does Oshawa have a tourism tax? I assume just HST.

Yea, I guess the way the world is going with pricing it was to be expected... At least we get a break on the event... :-)

All the Shemanator has left in common with a tank in the front section, the drive sprockets and the tracks. Those tracks are probably worth more than the rest combined! Hes got a sweet resto going for a cabover to haul the Shermanator too!

Right, so now we just need the tickets to the event itself.  And then, tanks.  Lots of tanks.

(I am definitely getting a picture of Team Hippo on top of their Stug, a la my T-34 on their T-34 last year...)
