| I'll be there around 9. Mitch don't forget the leaf blower. My KV-2 needs some weathering |

| WTF???? If I think what you are thinking not a good idea Martin... It is one thing to have dirt and dust settle on a tank another to force feed dust and dirt into your running gear! LOL! _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Ha no not directly, we just were laughing about the cloud of dust the blower kicked up when Mitch used it last time. Some easy weathering with the tank out on the picnic table |

| LOL... Of course doing that with the leaf blower is akin to sandblasting the tank with dirt particles.. That will result in several "How the FUK did THAT get THERE!" moments. And the volume of gearbox lube in Mitch's KT will = some really gritty grinding if weathered that way... |

| I’ll bring the leaf blower and just stir up the dust a bit...nothing too crazy |

| I could always put a layer of grease over the gear lube to protect the gears and gear lube from contamination. |

| Will do another informal Battle Day this Saturday; I’d like to try a HD video cam mounted on the turret of KT.
Anyone interested?
Also more images to follow... |

| Weather looks great so I'll come up. Also this time it won't be so hot like last weekend that the narrow plastic Tamiya tracks on the Panzer IV were getting a little too soft and flexy. Images look great especially compared to my phone. I wonder what some would look like taken in a WW2 style monochrome especially on a cloudy day |

| Images came out great. I think all that work yesterday on the trailer end of the field has really brought that whole area back to life. Hopefully we get to use it next weekend but the forecast makes it sound that the remarkable string of dry sunny weekends is about to end |

| Great shots! Also, great landscaping and work on the field! That PZ IV looks great! Considering the crews probably begged borrow and stole for any paint they could get their hands on, no 2 tanks were ever alike. Could you imagine if they could just go to the local Home Depot and just pick out a few gallons of paint??? I'm guessing that modern digital camo is a wrap applied to the tanks over a base coat. Mike would probably know. _____________________________________________ You may be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! - Death

| Just remembered that some time ago I found a right rear fender off a Tiger 1, desert camo that could be from a 131.
I’ll bring it with me this weekend. |
