Finally got the old tank dusted and purchased a new transmitter from FingerTech Robotics.
I think I saw a post here someone suggested buying from them, and for $45 can't go wrong!
I ordered a non-branded T6A v2 transmitter and got sent a Skyfly FS-CT6B, which I assume is the remodel of the old Hobbyking version. Looks identical.

Managed to get it binded to the old HobbyKing T6A receiver with ease.

Curious if people prefer to have the left stick self-center, as I did buy the "kit" in addition to the transmitter.

Guess it means I should get the wiring all cleaned up for a trip down in April to meet up again!

I always set my transmitters for self-centering sticks.

Oh that wiring needs to be organized..... (I'm a tad obsessive about wiring layouts. right Dean?)

Now that I've actually worked in the electrical field and communications, the wiring I did on this guy irks me....

Jumping back into this again.... If I were to upgrade to a 360° current, do I just need the slip ring kit/wiring and a 360 gear off Matomart?

You can make you own 360 ring. Just take another one and notch it with pencil and sand it out. I have some 360 wiring harness that I would love to get rid of so send me your address and some postage and I will mail it your way.

I don't do 360s and everytime I buy comes with it. Drive me bonkers when I have to replace them with new wiring.
