| It would be interesting to see the interior of the open turret. I noticed that they cover up the M36B1 but the M10 and M36 is not. |

| I love the M10, but will probably wait to see if they do a plastic version first.
Not a big fan of the all metal tanks, hard on the gears, electronics, batteries and wallet. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I am really enthused by the M10 release. One of the 'eventual projects' that I want to build is an Achilles. For several years now, I have been saving a Tamiya 17-pounder barrel for it. (Yeah; I know that's a silly way to build a tank - to start with just the barrel and then build everything else around it). Very cool news! |

This really IS a small world. I started building the barrel for a Nashorn as a prelude to deciding whether or not to put the effort into reworking a Bandai Hummel, (this was before the neat conversion came out that you're building). And, although I STARTED converting a KV-85 to a KV-122; once I saw that Tamiya was making a JS-2, I scrapped my unsatisfactory attempt at the muzzle brake, and converted it back to a KV-85. |

Wow, no kidding. Great minds must think alike. I am not that good at scratch build, so I bought a Tamiya KT barrel (it was the closes to to it and it is an 88mm/L71 !) and was going to get the Juckenburg Hummel (Instead of the Bandai since I already have a HL Panzer IV lower chassis) and the he tells me that has the Nashorn kit, it is just not on his website (?!?!?) Anyway, I kept the Tamiya barrel and integrated it into Juckenburg's kit. The KV-122 is another crazy thing. I ordered an Asiatam Elephant two years ago and they shipped me 2 barrels. I kept the extra one around and when I decided to do the KV-122, I measured it out and the Elephant monobloc is pretty close, and I just have to cut off the tapering at the end. As to the muzzle brake, I noticed that Juckenburg is making a JS-3 so I asked if I can buy a couple of the muzzle brakes from him and the rest is history. Here is my baby....... " /> Back to the M36B1, I would love to get the metal turret and is very curious as to how the barrel recoil inside the turret etc. |

| Yea I'm not sure how they'll do turret interiors and still have it fully functional for R/c control.
Ditto on the Achilles, very interesting and unique vehicle.
I like the new releases but as a typical tanker very picky about it.. I think more is to come.... I'd still love Mato to release a small-hatch Sherman hull and plastic turrets for these TD's _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT
