Looks like MK Modellbau has pick up all the AFV cast from the now defunct Juckenburg store........

It sounds as though the casting is a slow endeavour... 3pcs per month?

They had some really nice resin kits, the IS-3 I tossed together was spectacular, Mike's IS-152 and Maus also...

His kits are complete kits so there is lots of pieces (i.e. individual track links etc) and my experience with him (don't know the situation now with MK Modellbau) is that from order to shipping is about three weeks minimum. And if you need specific parts you basically have to wait for his cast cycle.

Doesn't surprise me that he would only produce 3-4 kits a month.

No, you guys misunderstand. He is re-introducing 3 or 4 models each month. Then there will be castings of each. You can get at max about 30 castings per mold and then you have to make a new one and it is actually more economical to do them all at once that just do a few at a time so my guess is he will do the 3 or 4 most popuar kits first, make 20 or 30 of each and try to sell a bunch to help finance the next 3 or 4 kits because it is a hell of a lot of money to put out at a shot. Trust me, I know! LOL!

I think in total there were about 20 different kits. He probably is tweeking them a bit to add some detail works...

I am surprised at that list that is suppose to reflect demand. SU-152 is number 1 and Maus is 10. Just looking at that list and realized I had spent way too much money with Juck as I have over time built 5 of the top 10 and part of number 11.......... Shocked
