Hi guys,

Recently acquired my first Tamiya tank, and is having issue with how to activate the MG. I am not using a Attack 4 channel analogue radio, so I am not too sure what is the equivalence of the trim function in order to fire the MG on the Tamiya with other radios. How does it actually work on a Attack radio ? It looks like to me that the fire funciton is just stick up, and then you have to adjust the trim to get the MG, but do you still push the stick up for the MG or it activates simply by the adjustment of the trim ?

Thanks !

MikeC.

Trick the DMD when you go to program it only move the sticks halfway up instead of fully up.

That's how I got my IS2 to work with my flysky which has no physical trim adjustment on it.

I have to turn on mixer mode briefly to get out of REV mode, but aside from that all the other tank functions will work.

Mike, on the Attack or 4-channel radio to fire the cannon, you put the trim all the way up and push up on the stick. To fire the MG it's the opposite, put the same trim all the way down and then down on the stick.

Okay guys will give it a go. Ren, I am still not too sure what you are talking about with the mixer mode and REV but I will try to go half way during the programming and see if that's it.
