Well since my IS-3 roadwheel project came about, now I'm dabbling more Russian stuff it seems.

Behold... the Early year road wheel design...

This version does not have the caps (Just re-use the HL caps...)

Will look at doing the rubber tire as a separate unit. Once I finish and get the STL, it will have to be printed in flexible plastic to fit over the wheels.

The wheel assembly itself consists of 3 pieces. One Hub (Shown is the metal swing arm/BB version), and a pair of wheel halves. Assembly would be to CA glue it all together...

I'll be prototyping this hopefully this week.

T-34 Roadwheel Project First_10

First Prototype, metal suspension arms.
Factory rubber tires fit just as good as original. Wheel rims fit perfectly onto the wheel hub. Too bad I fubar'd the bearing dimensions on the prototype (1.5 or so mm to big for the bearings...).

Now to model the tires.

You at home today playing??? That looks pretty good Mike I'll be interested to try it on mine and see if I can get even a finer print.

Just got home. So no more tweaking for me (No software at home...) Until the new year.

I did however make the Tire STL quick and roughly... Will try the new hub and maybe the tire today...
