Thank you all so much for coming out guys! Without you, none of this works! I hope everyone had fun and enjoyed the battles and drive and shoot on Saturday.
Well, the race for TOTY has certainly heated up! although Ren is still out in front many players made some headway this past weekend including Russell with the stunning discovery of the 10 point Red Lion!!!
And as I said before ANYONE is well within striking distance for the title! There were some extra points given for those brave souls who tempted the fates and came out to play today Sunday. Bravo for your dedication!
Hope our little fireworks show provided some entertainment! We will have a bigger show in 3 weeks for the Ed Reimer Memorial weekend!
And please, anyone who took video and/ or pics let's see em posted! Hach made a cool video but he wasn't the only one! :-) I posted my little vid and some pics below...

Only a few sprinkles on and off throughout the day until around 3 pm when it started to sprinkle more frequently.
Could have been a full battle day...

Oh Dean. Remember that the Johnny Walker Sherman is not certified, I will be using the Desert PZIV-F2

Ya, I agree 100%.
Their forecasting is based on weather modelling and weather trends blah blah yada yada...over a widespread area so your particular area may not receive any precip but somewhere else it might be blah blah yada yada.
Oh well, I feel better after my rant!!
And look, it’s raining now when they DIDN’T call for it...I guess they looked at the wrong weather modelling and weather trends.

If it had rain it would have been a 3 1/2 plus hour drive home for me

Hello to all! My name is Dieter Lux, my online RC- career name is Cpt_Chaos_Canada, in short CCC.
I was able to visit this Memorial event from Friday to Saturday. Brought my Dog and 10 HL Tanks with me, Truck Driver. It was the first time I could actually visit a tank event with a small mixed WW2 batallion of my own. I have met some of you back in 2016 at the Mississaga field during an event.
Bought an upper toy grade tank after that, mainly to shoot some funny videos. Like that:
Since last year I was able to collect some "real" RC tanks. (all new HL models / 2x 6.0 and 10x 7.0)
---
Back on topic. I wanted to thank you all for making me feel welcome! It has been a great time that I could spend in your company. Need to admit that it was a lot to take in for a new Panzerfahrer I have only a few pictures but a ton of video material that I need to review and edit to a consumable video report. That'll take a while but I will post it here, okay?
Bye for now! CCC

It was great meeting you Dieter! I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your time out at our small little field of combat!
Thank you for coming out all the way from the East Coast, that is quite a haul (pun intended). And a great collection of tanks too BTW. Great images!

LOL! A little figure was hidden on the field and first one to find it got an extra 10 points! For airshow weekend there will be a couple of puzzles to solve again for points!
