| I think we need to implement the "Strato Solution" for the big turret-less tank destroyers; - Strato50 wrote:

Have we even tried that before?
I think it will add an interesting dynamic to battles. The AFV's were pretty heavily armored in the front, so there is a historical precedent. It would level the playing field a bit for the turret-less tanks and we might be more of them on the field, which IMHO is a good thing. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

- gearboxes,
Just be aware, some upgrade gearboxes that will fit the HL Panther G will not fit the HL Jagdpanther. The left motor sits too high and makes contact with the upper hull, due to the upper hull's shape to accommodate the mantlet on a JP. At least, I ran into this. If I can get a set of upgrades that fit and we do the "Strato Solution" I could be persuaded to make my JP into an IR. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I did a quick search because Welsh is out of stock, beware the "steel gears" for JagdPanthers on eBay, they're definitely the cheap pot metal versions. If you like I can email Welsh / Mato / Rctank.de guys and see whats up with the nicer asiatam / taigen (?) versions for it. Glen Im guessing they're LONG gearbox shafts? What are the panther's? *EDIT* Oh wait, nevermind, BINGO! Nice asiatam LOW PROFILE long shaft Jagdpanther gearbox _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| I did not order them.
I seem to recall that Freakydude at Immortal Hobbies might be getting something in that will fit the JP, if that happens, it would be a "good thing" _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I have to aggree most of the big turretless tank destroyers did in fact have much better frontal than the main battle tanks only because they were at a disadvantage being turretless And having all that area available for armour in someway a advantage |
