| In August 2013, I took Anneliese out of service, reluctantly, because she started throwing tracks after a couple seasons running "stretched" the tracks. KT's track design preclude the "cheap & dirty" trick you can pull with an HL Panther G; i.e. drop one track link. I waited through the winter and have realized it is time to act to have this one ready for the April or May meet. I ordered the Henntec System for it, today; http://www.etoarmour.com/product_detail.php?productID=HT025This tank has; SLU Upgrade Motors 3:1's It is a good runner, or was until it started throwing tracks, the plan is to restore it to full mobility. I plan to do a running report on this, here, from delivery, installation, to finish. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I also order a Henntec System too from ETO and some other items for my KV.
Bob was quick to get back with any questions I had. Though there was an error in shipping they were quick to catch and resolvent it.

| I hope you'll enjoy installing it and really notice the benefits.
I found it was a good idea to replace the 'tightening' M3 set screw with a larger M3 hex-head bolt. More torque without the risk of stripping the threads out. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Looks straight forward. Enough . But I did notice there is not a lot of meat there were the track tensioners are mounted ...when you install it does it sandwich the hull and the tensioner |

| I got mine for the KV yesterday, the bag wasn't closed properly and when I open the the package all the small bits and parts came tumbling out. Luckily I had open it low over a flat surface, so I'm pretty sure I have all the parts still.
I do wish the instructions came in English though.

| The system is not sandwiched in, I will show how it goes in, in future pictures, rather than try to describe it. They do provide a reinforcement piece for the installations area, all I can say is that it is a proven system, with good reports on several forums and I am not concerned about it. 1.) Reinforcement panel glued in place. 2.) Outside of the hull with old idler mount removed to prepare for drilling. 3.) A bit of a challenge, the HL Tiger II has a screw, rather than an axle like a Taigen Tiger I. The Henntec system is seet up for an axle. I found if the threaded portion was cut shorter, the Henntec set screw will hold it in place. 4.) Replace the itty bitty set screws (little silver thing in the lower right with 3mm cap screws (thanks to Strato for the heads up on this one) _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Looking good Glen, I'm happy you're having a good experience with these.
I did find that I'm often confused as to what parts are made for which, in this case I can't be sure at all which particular idler and axle setup is meant to fit the tensioner... probably the Torro metal lower hull which might already have the solid axles.
Come to think of it, I have no idea which axles are in my Tiger... probably whichever came with the Asiatam hull. They aren't threaded though. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Kinda forgot to take pictures during the final stages of completion. The tank is back together now, everything seems to work quite well, we will see how it functions, long term, outside. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
