Hey guys started building this beast last week....
I had a pair of Impact sprockets laying around so I installed those along with hex bolts from DLKMRC in the suspension replacing the kit screws I also made the commanders hatch open and close.
I am at the stage now where I am ready to cut out the engine deck and scratch build a new, my goal to make it somewhere near right it wont be 100% but it will be close enough.. the stowage boxes, jerry can holders and gun travel lock on the rear of the tank all have to be scratch built as well... ( Lucky me )

Anyway here are some pics of it so far......

Hmmmm chop the handle off this small flash light maybe....i will be looking for you unless the flashlight is to your liking

Hey everyone, well after a bit of a break I am back onto this build....
A fair has been done to it most importantly the engine deck is now finished with a Big Thanks to a very good friend of mine , he has done a fantastic job lets hope I can finish it to match his top shelf work... also a very good friend of mine scratch built the spot light out of brass just adds that little bit more to the tank, so a  Big Thanks Greg very much appreciated mate...

Anyway here are some pics to wet your whistle hopefully will have this finished in time for the QMHE show my club is going to in 2 weeks...

Great project, I did one few years ago converting Tamiya Sherman into Super Sherman. You should enjoy it very much.

One of the few tanks I have never owned and confess, one of my favorites.  I'll be keeping an eye on this build for sure.  Keep up the awesome work.

Hey Everyone,

Well managed to get some done today .... yep thanks to my mate who did the engine deck the stowage boxes are done for each side I also covered the horn and extended the rear panel.
I filled in the existing tool mounting holes and added bolts to the front fenders as they were bolted on on the original... still a bit to do I have jerry can holders to make yet, 7 of them to be accurate plus a few other small bits and pieces including a huge gun travel lock for the rear of the tank.

Ok guys got some done to the Sherman.......
All 7 jerry cans on plus the 2 spare road wheels , added the white rings on the barrel and did all the chipping ... its going to be weathered fairly dirty so a lot of the chipping should tone right down....I hope...
