I suppose so but we’ll have to do some repair work to the partially destroyed area to get it back to how it was, and to include the road that Martin wants to build

If the roads are completed for this year, can we clean up the area by the tongue and behind the trailer and pile the bricks up neatly?

That job shouldn’t be hindered by any rainfall we get through today.

I think we might as well wait until Sunday or Monday to give the soil some time to dry. I'm glad I put the rubber mats over the newly laid tracks we did on Tuesday just to give them a chance to bed in. How much more rain can we possibly get this month? So I'm not bothering coming up tomorrow either to hopefully get to a stretch of 2 days without rain

Well I for one am done breaking soil. Only thing I'm going to be doing and this is going to be a massive job is screening enough soil to cover all the newly exposed till that is everywhere 

Can’t do Sunday...another day then.

Monday or Tuesday works for me. It's mostly soil screening up in that one area around the water tank. Restoring the central area is beyond the capability of just 2 people anyway and the building materials are still needing to be there for awhile yet

Can't speak for the others but I'm not going. I'd save your gas money (which is a major factor right now) for maybe next weekend if the weather is better

Rain has stopped.

Weather forecast updated and now shows no rain until Tuesday. Partial sun for remainder of daylight hours today and tomorrow.

That might be enough to dry out field to do some sifting...

I'm going to come up Monday. Doesn't really need a lot of people to do the sifting. We only have 2 shovels and the one screener anyway. Better to give it 3 days to dry out. Not sure about K-W but it absolutely poured here during the night on Wednesday. It's boring work but totally necessary. Hopefully my fix worked and all the topsoil on the south half is not getting washed off exposing more and more gravel every time it rains

I’ll still come out tomorrow morning to take dimensions to fix arches on rail bridge and assess field conditions.
