I was asked if i could show how i painted the turret on my Tiger I so here we go but this time i'll be painting the deck
First i start with Liquid Mask. i got this for the clear lexan rc boats but it works great for this as well
This part takes a lot of time. Just go random with painting on the mask but keep in mind that you will need at less then two coats of the Liquid Mask. it makes it easier to peel it off later.
let the mask dry till it's clear and then just to be safe leave it over night before painting
here's the paint i used for all 3 colours. Add a little bit of water for the airbrush
and here's the fun bit. peeling off all the Liquid mask. doesn't matter if there is sharp edges on the red becuase the green will cover them up
i will add a video of me doing the green soon

I use to have patience for stuff like that, now I have kids. It should look pretty cool after it's weathered up Russell.

It stings my eyes! Which I suppose is a good thing if you don't want to be shot at. Really good work man, I love the contrasts.

I think you will find that is the turret. the radio is still black and behind the KT
the main thing to remember about this camo is to take your time and doing it in stages. it also helps that using liquid mask i can continue where i left out with ease and if it doesn't match up when all the pieces are together i can fix it with the green
