| Hi Guys, Clark order has arrived. I am just confirming everything tonight. I will bring everything with me to Hamilton on Sunday for those that are there. also I have new Club shirts! Price as usual is $20.00 but these are a special buy I got at work. A little more detail than your regular T-shirt this one has a contrasting coverstitch which is the colour the print will be in. They also are made with ring spun cotton so have a nice soft hand. Will bring these to Hamilton too. Here is a pic! | Yes Hach, as I wrote before:
Hey Guys,
The IPMS Hamilton show is only a month away. This is a great modeling show to attend. There were a few 1/16th deals to be had last year (I picked up a Trumpeter T34/76 for $75.00 and a 120mm Luftwaffe pilot for $5.00!) as well as good supplies to be picked up. Michael, Jordan, and I ran our tanks a little in the parking lot for fun and to show off to people and Ed and Russell joined us as well. Saw a Tamiya Panther full option go for $650...
Anyone who is coming down if you ordered Clark stuff I can bring it with me for you to pick up.
I plan on being there around 9:30 -10:00 and usually stay till 3 or so. Anyway if you want to see professional modeling at it's best and a beautiful aviation museum at the same time this is the place to be!

This is the one. You will need to do some wiring in the battery compartment of the radio but not a big deal. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9787The one I have now is spoken for, but I will have it for a while to get all the programming/set-up done. |

| Yep, LOTS of paints and supplies. I don't buy that Mig stuff. Way to expensive for what you get.I can tell you how to make your own washes, pin washes and modulation paints for a fraction of the price. Even his rust and grime streaking products are nothing more than oil paints thinned down... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." | paint comments above = incorrect info Migs paints are not washed down oils as suggested but acrylics. He does have oils available but 90% of the offering is acrylics. If you have never used acrylics then clean your subject as oils from your hands will cause birds eye, cracks and poor finishes.Prime your surface that you are going to paint as well. Before painting shake the devil out of the paint can then shake some more, acrylics need to be blended extremely well, you can or may not want to thin the paint ( I don't ) air brush = low pressure low volume, 2 minutes dry time between layers. Migs stuff is meant to be thin layers Do that and the cost is more than worth anything else out there. I mean saving a dollar on a model you spent hundreds on making is quite foolish when the paint is the first and last thing you see |

| Holy Cow! It's Alive!!! LOL!
Not really incorrect. His paints are acrylic but the streaking grime and rust washes are oil based. You just have to smell them to know that. At least the ones you sold me are. Maybe they have changed with the big shake up. And yes, if you buy Mig acrylic paints you have to shake the living crap out of them.
It is good stuff but $35.00 for a modulation set that you can do by lightening or darkening a base paint is a bit ridiculous. but hey! just my opinion!
And welcome back Curtis nice to hear from you too! LOL! _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov
