| I am converting my Abt. 506 Taigen Tiger I from SLU to Clark.
The one thing I am deficient in is a Clark Flash.
If anyone here has one to spare, perhaps we can work out a sale, or trade. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

Yes, that's it. The bulb, connected wires (yellow & black, at least on the other one's i have used), and the connector that plugs into J3 on the Clark Board. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Also, will the HL Flash work with a Clark?
I have one but I don't feel comfortable with them because they store a high voltage. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Yes they will. But not a big deal to get you one with the regular LED. |

Good what are we looking at for cost? And, would you advise against using the HL? I have on, "new in the box". My concern is that I believe they are a capacitor that stores up a lot of energy and can zap the unwary if they are working around them. Electronic are not my area , I may be wrong with that concern. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| No the High intensity flash will work just fine. Make sure you plug it into the correct 5 pin plug on the board as there is 2 5 pin spot. Judhead in Welland might have some small plugs as well that he can pass onto you.
Besides, what else is it going to do sitting NIB ? |

Besides, what else is it going to do sitting NIB ? It has the 5 pin plug that fits right into CN3. I had it left over from some HL builds, didn't wind up using this particular one. Is it true that once they are used, they store high voltage? If they do, does it dissipate after the tank is shut down and the battery removed? _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

Thanks, but if the HL Flash will work, I think I might as well use it since it is here. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Works just fine as the Clark boards are designed to use it from the get-go.
They can be had quite cheaply, WELL under $20 so I'd cruise around eBay or some of the more known parts places to see what prices are like these days. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

Thanks, I already had an HL High Tension Flash in my collection of parts, and it was never out of the box Looks like they just plug into CN3 _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I'm gonna thread resurrect here... The High-Voltage flash unit has a 5 pin connector, 3 are used for +ve, -ve, and Strobe Signal. The remaining 2 are specifically for recoil/airsoft switch contact which is not used by the Clark board correct? |

| Of you can use an LED bulb and hook it up into Port J3 on the Clark board?
This is assuming of course you are wanting a flash of some sort... Cool to know...

| Always want flash. To me recoil and flash are a bare minimum... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov
