The CAN-AM RC Tank Club is a group of remote control tank enthusiasts that meet together to run our tanks on a miniature battlefield and conduct simulated battles using Infrared combat systems.

Tired of pulling out other tanks to test IR battle systems when I work on them, so put everything in a box and will use it as active target practice. I guess this is the same as building a gun encampment for the battle field.

Hey Mike if you want I have something you can use its the sane system I used for the anti tank guns in KW no sound but leds for hits and shots to see that you are doing I can work up something for you Tom

Hey Tom is it like a 3D printed bracket for the receiver and emitter ? I am okay with my set-up since I just pop in TBU when I need to and have tons of spare IR emitter laying around.

its an Adruino an emitter, receiver, and a couple of LEDs same set up for the anti tank guns and things to come :-)

Wow that's crazy. What about sensor ? What do you use ? Just a IR LED receiver ? Let me know how much would love to get one from you.

Okay so thanks to Dean I got this small DK unit which can act as a tester as well as stationary artillery or Air Strike on the battle field. So everything in a little project box, on/off bottom plus the fire button, and it has a sensor for taking hit plus a tiny speaker. This will be the new mobile IR tester, and I can use it in the field to fight other tanks or randomly call in Air/Artillery Strike !
