| I cut the field this evening, took it down to 2 inches, this time. This is the setting I cut it at for meets.
Took me two hours and that's with not trimming.
There are a lot of grass clippings, I am going to try to stay on top of it but am not up to raking or bagging.
I am going to need help before the June meet, even if that looks like a bunch of people bring rakes on the morning of the meet. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| It has been a bit wet here in the last few days.
Not bad enough to make things muddy but tougher to schedule a grass cutting.
I will try to get a maintenance cut done before the end of today, one more cut on next Friday.
As far as planning goes, lets hope for a good day on the 20th., because I have a commitment on the 21st. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I am sorry but I am unable to cut grass, I am now wearing two braces, one for the knee and one for the ankle which is rolling over because the knee is getting weaker. I hope to get a knee replacement Sept. 11. I most probably will be able to attend battle day, we are dog sitting the two grand dogs all week in Barrie, but the plan is I drive back to FE on Friday return to Barrie on Sunday then proceed to the cottage for a few days. I plan on bringing hot dogs and condiments. Any news on Curtis ? Wayne |

| Wayne. good luck with the future surgeries, I have learned how tough it is to be laid up.
Don't be concerned about the field, I know you have been quite helpful when you could (and maybe when you shouldn't have), gotta take care of the health.
I did manage to get a cut in today, if all goes well, it will get cut again on Friday. But help in getting the "hay" off the field and some trimming would be appreciated on Sat. before the meet. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Wayne, no worries. I will just be happy to see you out. We can assist with anything you need. Unloading tank placement on field, Leo back in Dean's truck.... I will bring some food too...
Glen, no issue, I will bring my bagger for the hay. _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Lets proceed with July 18th as a firm, meet day.
If the weather allows, I will cut the field on Friday aft./evening and we will be outdoors.
If the weather prevents field prep. or threatens outdoors on Sat., we'll take it indoors. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I cut the field tonight but we will need a bagger for sure and volunteers with some rakes would be a good idea.
The grass was very thick and long and must be removed before tanks can be run on it. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Glen,
I'm on Holidays this week, let me know what night is good for you and we can get the field prepped. Friday looks, weather-wise to be the best. Sat. & Sun weather looks good so far.

| Thanks
This week is really busy for me and I am having difficulty fitting everything in.
I may have to take a day off on Friday due to another commitment and would not be available Friday evening.
I know this is a problem at least as far as the forecast goes so far since every other day has the threat of rain. I had thought of at least doing a rough cut in the next couple days if someone else can do the final.
I will not have a problem with making it to the meet but this is one of those weeks where everything is happening at once. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I'll do the final cut on Friday as it looks to be good weather-wise that day. I'll also get all the weed wacking done too. We'll be fine. No need to be getting up a 4 am Dean, like last month...geeze
I got this.
