I don't use any on mine, I like the squeaks, sounds more real! Very Happy

But, I would think either one would work as long as it don't eat the plastic. Try some on the inside of the battery cover, that's where I always test to see how the plastic reacts.

I used 3 in 1 on mine, also on the gearbox axels, seems fine.
