| Wow - that camo job is fantastic. What paint combo did you use? |

| There, the camo rules. During the summer, I might as well painted a fluorescent target. Ha haa. Paint was mostly white and gray mixed and airbrushed. Black lines were all airbrush. Mud effects were fleckstone paint and dirt from the yard. Build thread is here. https://can-amrctankclub.canadian-forum.com/t2103-new-pather-g _____________________________________________ You may be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! - Death

| We’ve had a fog advisory here but just ended up being overcast...fog would be cool.
Maybe Saturday? |

| Wow. We have absolutely no snow left on the ground in Toronto. That's deep considering how warm and wet it's been |

| Mitch maybe you could put some of those shots up on the Hobby Squawk club thread. Something different than the sunny SoCal club photos. Which tank of the 3 worked the best in that snow? I've never had any luck running mine for longer than about 5 minutes in snow before it gets to the point where I start worrying about my idlers ripping off |

| Yes, will post them on HS as well.
First goes to VK; perfect combination of weight and traction. Second goes to T34-85. Too light and not enough track grip to get good traction; spin ‘em til you move. Gotta say KT was the worst, being too heavy even though tracks had decent grip. |

| Probably your PZIII with ostketten would perform better than the T34-85 or maybe the PZIV with ostketten would perform well. |

| I was surprised how poorly my KV-1 and KV-2 performed in snow considering they are great in the normal field conditions. I think the Tamiya Tiger might be a contender. Great tracks and and a perfect balance between not being too Heng Long light or too Taigen heavy. I'll give it a shot next snow. I think it might be time for me to rebuild/repaint it anyway. That tank has taken a lot of abuse. Running it hard the first couple of months while I learned to drive and also with no self centering left stick on the Futaba for the first few months was hard on the elevation unit as well so I'll put a new brass arm in the elevation unit and use the blue gears in the turret rotation. While I only rolled it spectacularly off a cliff once I did drive it into the end of bridges with great frequency (and still do but spread out over many tanks now) |

| I keep forgetting about that one but it should run well in snow. I’m surprised that the KV-1 doesn’t do better since it’s unstoppable in summer.
Another top contender is the Sturmtiger...when I first saw it climb out of the riverbed it looked amazing. |
