| Hey where is everybody !! Just an update to the June 15 Battle day  . Since the line of communication were cut to commander Norma and I we had our Battle day on Saturday. Norma brought her fav KT and I brought out my new M26 that I had just got running Friday around 11:30 . We liked what Glen and Ian have done with the field it looks very good and our battles will be more entertaining.( we stayed off the new hills but I like the new creek bed ). As we were about to leave a guy in a van pulled up and was surprised how small our club was . He read in the shopper news about the club and came down to check it out . He also had the following item for sale ... needless to say Norma made me buy it  I am trying to make it for the 22nd   |

| F-18! Bahaha, it also peeled my eardrums off...  Be careful with those 1/6 monsters, any day now the government is going to add them to a list of dangerous weapons...  Shame you guys came out for almost nothing!!

| Weather forecast as of Thursday night;
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Weather Channel has it at 40% chance of precip.
I am willing to chance it.
However, I am concerned about people driving 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours just to get rained on.
This summer is tough to call the weather, input is welcome.

| I hope everyone had a good time. Special thanks to all of our "long distance travellers" who took a chance on the weather, it turned out quite well; although with the wind, it was a good thing we were not trying to fly RC planes.  (Of course, that is a hobby I need to avoid under the best of conditions  )
