Captain, The rails are about 3.5 " apart, give or take. The whole piece is 6" x 46". I build it out stuff I had laying around the garage. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| So whats the word, Yes or no,? Too wet to tank , also too wet to work ? May be see what happens in the AM and put the word out by 8:am ? Also Tim what do you think about crushed lime stone for the roads? They ripped up a drive way down the street and I think I can get a few pails (4 or 5) of it.(I can ask them) The lime stone is small (the kind you put under patio stones) and will pack down with time and water. _____________________________________________ The Great Pan-Tiger |

| Frank,
I am afraid of any small stone that will get caught in tracks. The other clubs told me to avoid this at all costs. I think something the consistency of sand would serve us best.
Also, The weather tomorrow is going to be terrible. Next Battleday is only 2 weeks away. See my other post in this forum. |

| too bad that we couldn't take the patiostones and put a coat of mortor and then lay some of the stones in it to look like a cobblestone roads just in the village that might work and it would be more realistic |

| Couldn't you use wood cover with mortor, then use the paint roll with styrene bricks on it to give a pattern, like they do at Arizona. The PanzerPaul method. They would be lighter than stone and easier to move. Just a thought, would have to try one to see how it holds up. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger
