| I'm sorry this weekend was a washout boys, I was looking forward to a preliminary warm up before the big day but these things happen... BUT.... The forecast looks absolutely awesome for next week and into the weekend for Oshawa http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/CAXX0342So I would like to know who's in? This is a great chance to meet and greet people with a common interest in tanks and show off anything you have been working on. There will be lots going on and things to see. The vendors area is worth the $7.00 entrance fee alone! Need a lid for upcoming battledays? This is the place to find it. We will have a nice large field to run around on and the grass conditions will be fine. Stince and I are headed down Friday to set up and anyone else who can or wants to drop by and recce it before coming Sat. is most welcome! And I am working on something special for later Sat. afternoon/evening... so come on guys, show support for the club and lets start the season off with a bang, literally! (Did I mention pyro???) | Drew and I will be there heading up Friday around noon.We're staying at the Residence and Conference Centre 32 Commencement Drive $85 a night for 3 of us. Might anyone else be staying there? |

| I will be there but I have said it before and don't show up...... I am going to try my hardest this time as I have been meaning to visit the Oshawa place for quite sometime now, at least since I saw the episode of Tank Overhaul featuring them........

| You should try harder to make it down Mike, it a really nice little museum and the guys there are really great to talk to.   Wish I knew where I put my other pictures from my trip.

| My band should be out - Doug, Steve, Matthew and myself ^ ^. Just wondering what time do we need to be there by the earliest for the 31st? Affects pick up times and when we collectively hit the road. |

| Derek and I will be on the grounds by 8:00 I'm sure. We want to shoot for first battle 9:30 but hey, whenever you get there is fine. You are probably a comfortable hour and a 1/2 depending on how you drive!

| Stince, the plan is that I will be there on Saturday for sure. I had hope to go out there for a bit on Friday but that's not going to happen anymore unfortunately.

| i had a look at the area we will be setting up in today. it may need a mower over it. right now it about 2 inches of grass and i just dont know when that field will be cut. As long as we dont cut anything on the football side of the field we should be set cut the area to what we need

| Glad you asked... I will have set up 2 or 3 10 x 10 tents and will bring a few of my tables so we should be O.K. from that perspective. I am bringing a personal cooler with some water but plan on supporting the 404 RCAF wing who will be doing food. We are in the middle of the field so we will not have access to hydro so charge your batteries! Any trees and buildings would be good. We have some but can always use more... Remember that you unless you get there real early you will be parked away from the field so you will have to drag your stuff from the parking lot. I will have a 2 wheeler for anyone who needs it. Other than that I would bring some shopping money for the flea market! Sunscreen too might be an idea as it is supposed to be very nice that day boys!

| the field has been cut once this week so not as much work needed to get it to the height we need it at.
there is a lot of APC in their yard and some BIIIIIIIIIIIG Trucks and it looks like they will have 2 Shermans rolling out
