One major step forward, next step will be to configure the system to pick up the sound from the board. This will be done by this weekend

Do you have a timeline of when it be ready sale?

Also, how difficult will it be to switch it between tanks and does it matter what battle system you are using?

Time line is 3 weeks and I am counting down the days.
how easy is it to switch between tanks? If your tanks are turned on, you can use the model match of the radio and switch between tanks REMOTELY. In essence you could platoon your tanks Smile
would take maybe 10 seconds, Radio storage will take up to 15 tanks each with individual settings  ie some can have cameras, some not. you can have each tank run with specificly programmed actions like for instance front drive or rear drive, each would need a different setting for forward or reverse which is easily accomodated.
You can transfer setting from one radio to another on the fly. You can even program the radio's signal strength so on a small field you would lower it to gte longer battery life. Lots of people or obstructions just increase the signal strength.
Radio is 2.4ghz spread spectrum, Video will be 5.8ghz. Up to 9 people can run cameras at one time within a 300 meter circle without interference as long as they all choose a seperate channel.
Flat ground radio is good for roughly 2 kilometers, Video is good for roughly 300 meters but the video is line of sight.

Freaky, I think Stince is asking about how easy it is to switch the FPV features to another tank.

Correct me if I am wrong as I haven't got it going yet, but there is the camera which is about a matchbox size and a transmitter which is slightly bigger. Obviously you will need the Devo radio receiver as well. Battle System doesn't matter as this will replace your Turnigy set-up.

I know Freaky has done some custom wiring to get everything going with the standard battery, but if you are going stock you will need to account for another battery just for the camera and the video transmitter.

Devo's own receiver that has a separate AUX output for the 5.8Ghz Video transfer. I am playing with couple of them right now with a Devo F4 but still waiting for the interconnect from Freaky to get the video going. The 4 channel controlling the tank functions are pretty straight forward. The video I posted controlling the two Tigers at the same time is the Devo F4 with the model matching function that Freaky described.

My camera is installed on the range finder on my HL Leo already, and I am still waiting for the Lipo from HobbyKing as well as I am not doing any custom wiring like Freaky. The tank will have its usual battery source and there will be a separate power source for the video transmit.
