| If need be I can come extra early and do some cutting and trimming too although (and I hate to say it) looks like rain toward the end of next week... Start dancing....

Thanks, guy's. I should be OK if I take it easy. It would be nice not to have to have it cut Sat. morning when the grass is still damp from dew. We will have to watch the weather and make a call on it later next week.

| WOW! the forecast just gets worse and worse! I am showing 100% rain on Friday and 70% on Saturday... Boy, we have been cursed this year!

We were used to good weather for the first 3 years of club outdoor meets but that changed last October. The forecast is not looking good right now for the 4th of October. We will have to watch the forecast situation and make a call on it later this week.

The Battleday for the 4th has been cancelled and rescheduled for the 18th
...maybe naming this one "Operation: Neptune" wasn't a good idea.

| Yep, looks like I may be tucking in to another batch this week...:-(
I am going to make my own personal call tomorrow night. There is a model show here in Kitchener on Saturday that I can go to instead and maybe perk up some interest. As much as I love the outdoor field it really makes me wish we had an indoor semi permanent spot. What I mean by that is we still would have to lay everything out but there would be no dirt or hills like Danville.
I think I am going to have to start working on something to see if there is a chance...

| The weather has been challenging since Sept. 2013, this makes it tough to make a call on club meet dates as well as plan on field preparation, for which this time of year, I have to tale at least a 1/2 vacation day on the Thurs. or Fri. before the meet, since it is too dark this time of year to do it in the evening.
We will have to monitor the weather and make a final call for this weekend in a couple days.

As far as Black Creek goes, it is hard to say with their rental schedule, it would be the luck of the draw. The room size configuration is not as favourable there as they were in Kitchener.
