Well guys, I am making my call now. My weather.com shows 40% Thurs, 50% Friday, and 60% Saturday! So instead I will be going to my local model show with some tanks...
You can find the info on facebook at AirCadCon.

$5.00 to get in and $2.00 per exhibit. Should be a busy show!

It is not looking good for the Oct. 18th meet, due to weather.

Saturday is down to 40% with ~1mm, the most wet day being Friday.

I personally don't mind coming down, even if the field is uncut considering the weather the day prior. It's good to get together anyway, and the tanks will still roll even if combat isn't 'perfect'

We can do some trimming in the AM if we want to go that far anyhow.

We've had 40% days where we literally saw 3 raindrops. I'm still in unless the call is made otherwise.

The grass is too long, and wet, we cannot cut it and cannot operate tanks on it at that length, we will try for the weekend of the 25th.

Forgot that is on the 25th.

We may have to roll the dice and hope for one more opportunity in the 1st weekend of Nov.

The poll has ended, and Sunday 26th has been chosen as the Battleday.
Now we just have to hope Mother Nature chose with us.
Very Happy

You're THE MAN, that would be great.

If you could do a quick weed whip, that would be appreciated, my weed whip is temporarily out of action.

I will followup with my mower, set to cut close and then hope my leaf blower starts Rolling Eyes so I can use it to tidy up.

My Weed Eater has died and is comfortably resting at the Bridge St. recycling site.
I have been so far unable to find a cheap new one.

Strato stop blowing S**T up! LOL!

Sorry guys, I can't be there. We have our fall motorcycle club get together and the wife has been giving me the evil eye so I must go. she is letting me away with Ajax while she has to work all day so I guess I can't complain to much...

I know what you mean, since I traded to the BMW F700GS a year ago, the call of the motorcycle is strong for me.

There's a bit of a conflict for me too, Sunday forecast sounds great for riding, but fortunately for me, so does Monday, so I have booked a vacation day Very Happy

The weather has been pretty good compared to last fall (except for precip. when we want to hold a meet).

The field has been cut.

Thanks, Wayne, for making "the first pass" yesterday.

I made the final short cut today.

The grass clippings were heavy and I tried to sweep them with a leaf blower, with some success, but if anyone wants to bring a leaf rake tomorrow that might be helpful.
