| Don't forget about Castle Itter. There seems to be great potential for a great battle scenario but I will leave that up to the experts in the field . Looking forward to the battle plan. |

| Admittance to the airshow is $7.00 per day and we would ask that you "donate" $25.00 for the weekend to our club. Oshawa sales of the tickets with a free t-shirt went over very well and those funds have been used up to strip the field and some other costs for things like round up. Our next big project is we are looking on Monday at a "clubhouse" trailer to store all our stuff that would be permanently parked beside the gazebo. We also hope to have the water feature up and running for airshow weekend as well as a couple of other surprises...
Full information on the weekend to come in a couple of weeks... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Have microwave, coffee maker, air conditioner, will look for fridge as the one that is in it is no good, Have outdoor speakers to be mounted. Yes, was thinking of camo. With red cross would make it interesting for sure. On the mice and critters thinking small electric fence around the bottom of the trailer and of course we will rip out all piping, toilet, shower, and seal everything up with expanding foam. I did a quick inspection of the roof and only leakage I can see is around the air unit but we will fix that. Like I said, lots of work to do... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Will we be allowed to have the unit hooked up to power at the club? Recommend at least 14ga wire extension cords if 75' away, and 12ga if 100' away from source. That will allow us to keep a full 15A draw at the trailer. AC requires an addition al 15A (30A minimum service) so I'd just either remove it, or completely seal it up. My 2 thoughts. If semi-permanent. Jack up the whole unit and block it up on the frame. Removing the wheels (Store in back or someplace.)
- That removes any reliance on the suspension for stability.
- Allows for increase elevation for cutting any grass/weeds that would grown around it.
- Easier maintenance of any openings underneath.
Rip out the sleeping areas and make work stations.
- Soldering guns, moving lights, cutting mats, etc...
I would keep the roof as light a colour as possible for heat. However, putting a big Can-Am logo on top has it's appeal as well. I would hope that this is done (external looks) before the September airshow, or is being done away from public view. Having a dilapidated trailer sitting there half torn up with hundreds of people going by = bad juju and looks bad on the club (IMHO) and they club has been nice enough to let us do pretty much whatever we want to their property... |
