| It’s Spring and so it’s time for some informal uncertified Battle Days!
Anyone interested in showing up Saturday or Sunday April 8th or 9th?
Weather is supposed to be sunny both days... |

| I could see next weekend. It's supposed to be in the 20's. Have you been to the field? I would imagine it is just a giant soaked sponge considering how much rain and snow we have had in the last month with no sun |

| Good point...I would have checked it out tomorrow if there was any interest. I know my back yard is mostly dry and only wet in a few spots. |

| Not thinking much work as still too muddy but roads are good. But would be good to discuss changes...

| April 15th is another work/Battle Day with the added feature of Wing Night, yes Wing Night, starting around 5 ish so bring $15 for the best darn wings cooked by our Commander!

| you were straightening the railway bridge... :-) New spade and 4 prong cultivator purchased today with club dues. :-) They will be there Saturday morning. Unfortunately I thought about this and since I am chief cook and bottlewasher for wing night I will probably not be out to work on Saturday... :-(

| Forecast is for an even worse upcoming weekend than the last one so starting to think I might come up in the day midweek at times. Had to drive out to Milton anyway today so I came out to the field to work on some small improvements that we had discussed for a couple of hours. I noticed Wojtek had done quite a bit of work on the brick roads but we need some good weather to get that field in shape. It's a real mess right now. Would have done a bit more but the green wheelbarrow is pretty well useless and I couldn't find the good blue one we use. The amount of rocks all over the field that need removing would fill at least a half dozen wheelbarrow loads plus we need to wheelbarrow a lot more new soil from behind the house |
