Nice but I hope those bricks were moved to prevent all the heavy rain we are in for this week flowing down the road and being channeled under the bridge and creating a reservoir in the middle of the field like in early March. Will make it difficult this weekend if that happens

I’ll try to get over to the field and put the bricks under the bridge to divert the water downstream by the trailers.

That would be great if you could. The following week is supposed to be gorgeous. Just got to get through the next 4 days of awful weather

Additional soil was put under the bridge so that’ll slow the flow of water...

| Bricks, trees and garbage cleaned out of said riverbed and 2 bricks placed by bridge to divert water flow down stream to far end of field. Also on a better note, RONA has big totes (black w yellow lid) for $12.99. Get ‘em while they’re HOT!

Good stuff Mitch and thanks for the tip on the totes. I was thinking of getting some last week to get a bit more organized in the tank room

Canadian Tire also has large totes with a red lid for $11.99 but these ones don’t stack well with the yellow lids due to different patterns in lid design.

It definitely feels like a sunburn. The red face is from the beers afterwards

Woohoo! Martin, Wojtek and myself survived working on the field during the eclipse! No burnt retinas or anything, but I think we’re a little more red

Saturday is looking good to get some more of the real grunt work done. That way with more people available on the official workdays the detailing and general cleaning up of the soil etc can be done. Thinking it might be a good idea to have one of the unfinished areas close to the picnic table to be the designated fill area. The soil can then be screened and moved out to where it's needed. Makes it easier to wheelbarrow the stuff over and keeps the stones grass clumps etc. from having to be cleaned up in place
