Weather permitting Noah and I will be there too. Probably a little after ten.

I’ll probably roll in the usual time...LATE!!!

Even though I’m one of the closest to the field.

6 people on a non official workday. Excellent and more so because we now need lots of input on how that SE corner of the field is going to be developed. All the main roads and major grunt work is done so there is nothing stopping us from making some decisions and getting rolling on them tomorrow

I’m sure there’s more wheelbarrows of soil needed! Wink

Is that the area covering the water tank? I should know that by now...

If so, we should bring out the buildings and cathedral to rough out their locations by popular vote.

They seem to be backing off now on how much rain we are getting tomorrow so I might come up Tuesday afternoon to start screening dirt. We pretty well can't move forward until we screen a lot more soil. Well I guess I could lay railroad tracks Smile

They couldn't have got the forecast more wrong for today. We could have worked today instead of in the crappy hurricane yesterday

It was still raining here at 9am...but in the space of 15 minutes rain and clouds moved off.

Yes, the weather was something else yesterday but we toughed it out.

Yea I think I might come out Tuesday afternoon. Depends on how this damned flared up hernia recovers. Happens about once a year

I can do the grunt work by wheeling the soil to the appropriate area (if the soil is dry enough). Considering how much we still need, we all need to step up.

Very Happy Very Happy I can wheelbarrow all day. I come from endless Welsh and Northeast England coal miner ancestry. It was my bike riding that flared things up but it's the shovelling from that pile of crap soil that is difficult

Well now we have your credentials confirmed for the next election Field Work Meet Up Thread - Page 4 1f600  we can move on to the subject of getting 25 barrow loads over to that far side of the field and filling it once and for all. If we can pull that off it can be levelled off and the top screened on Saturday

25?

That would be awesome to get that area filled up, for this year anyway. Maybe we can get that qty over to the central screening area to be screened and moved to the final area Saturday.

If you are willing to shovel that much into the barrow it's a pot of piss for me to take it right to the far edge. Then it's done once and for all. No more need for the one and only bridge that can take the load to be located where it is. The screening specialists can take over from us yard apes

I’m thinking that we should concentrate on the big pile of soil, so we can go and hit it hard...but if we have to scrape the first pile then we may not get all the soil we need.
