I'll be there for 1pm. Can you bring your angular saw with the cutting blade for the bricks. Might need to cut a couple into shape around the railway bridge

Oh for sure...I’ll bring a level (for a straight edge) and something to mark/score the bricks for that professional cut Wink Smile

My plans have changed a bit as doggie day care, or Poppy Day care, changed.

I can be there for 1 but have to leave at 3 and come back around 4:30.

Mitch no problems. I'll go up earler and start on some drainage set up and grab a few loads by myself. I was thinking we would want to take a break after about a dozen loads to spread the soil anyway

SRY Martin, plans changed again...1st beer lasted about a minute followed by a few more; now my BAC is past acceptable.

Again, SRY; was too thirsty. Sad

Ha no prob. I checked Google Maps at 6:30 and it was clear sailing. Was home in just over an hour. Basically 140 the whole way until Kipling. Level is in the truck. Sturmtiger climbed the steepest slope I have ever attempted. Not sure any other tank could do it. Field Work Meet Up Thread - Page 5 1f600

New area along telephone poles. Finally after 2 years it is filled. Also the station will be along the other side of the rail bridge. Also a large above ground waterbar and a cut that I enlarged under the telephone pole that the water was using to escape. That brace for the railway bridge you are going to build Mitch will straighten out that one leaning arch

Great images Mitch. Thanks for the help. Saved me another $80 gas bill. Like I said I'll just be out on the weekend work days until the price of gas comes down. It's just too much

You’re welcome.

Tomorrow’s rain will certainly set the soil around the airfield.

A few shots of the tanks on the surface. That clay rocky stuff is hard to screen but it's excellent once it is tamped down. Also just a question on why the rubber roads are being phased out in place of brick everywhere. They are superior in every way other than we don't have enough

One thing I've noticed is that the little spreading plant with all the white flowers really holds the soil together and unlike the other weeds like the grasses and dandelions is actually a nice surface to run the tanks over as it doesn't foul anything up in the tracks/idlers/sprockets because it doesn't grow high at all. Looks nice in a lot of the secondary places especially here in this image and also in the V1 launch ramp area for exampleField Work Meet Up Thread - Page 5 Veg_110
