| Darth Vader will not make the tank go faster, however being able to harness the dark side of the force may be the advantage on the battle field. "you don't need to shoot this tank. This isn't the tank you're looking for. " _____________________________________________ My Tanks = HL PzIII, HL KV-1, Tamiya Leopard (unbuilt)

| Those motors will never fit the Asiatam low profile gearbox, ever. Sorry mate.
Can we keep your tank issues to one thread please?
Which receiver did you end up getting? You need to give us clear concise info on here, most of these guys are not mind readers/are old (lol)
The metal tracks come off most easily when you remove the drive sprocket... 2.5mm hex driver, I think... you should have a nice high quality hex/Allen key set in metric if you want to work on tanks, and a nice micro screwdriver to. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Radio is X6i DSMX 6-Channel Full-Range without Servo MD2 Receiver is AR6115e 6-Channel DSMX Microlite Receiver: End Pin I got them detected but the controls are bit wonky still (I need to program it, working on that slowly, the turret and tank move just no sound) So ya....am wondering if i just got a one off faulty sound board? Edit:Got the turret spinning side to side & and gun flash randomly but the damn Recoil servo is down....... And the sound is just still a super high pitch whine. Keeping the speaker unplugged well i try to get the turret working. _____________________________________________ |

| I assume you're using the 'real recoil' function and a servo on this Tiger.. first off make sure the servos are plugged in the right way, on my Hitech's the black wire side is facing AWAY from the board. When I accidentally had mine in backwards, I got a high pitched whine like you described (and obviously the servo won't work at all plugged in backwards)
What recoil unit are you using (barrel recoil right?) Describe the flash issue. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| hmm well i took the turret off and found this inside I thought it was a barrel recoil but turns out that isn't the case from what i can see..........Starting to feel a bit worried about my purchase but once i get the remote set up i will hopefully have better luck testing. (Running it when i get up with no top to see if i can get the sound going and im going to give it a good cleaning since the gears inside the turret maybe seized) OH and uh.....Anyone know what the weird switch in the top of the turret maybe? i am afraid to flip it lol (the odd capacitor doesn't help) Also as i have never programmed a Radio before maybe just getting the bottom going should be a start...... But i did this like a guide i found said. Read this
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11137871/mpage_20/tm.htm Hmmm Interesting! I am wondering if that was already done because of the odd wireing inside the turret......or is this the stock wiring >_@ _____________________________________________ |

My brother is a pro at it >_> my iron died so ill have him do it or just go buy a cheap one lol so its safe to say i can cut all the wires in the turret now and get a new switch for the power and so on? AKA:All top wire go snip snip > _____________________________________________ |

| Well figure out what you have and what you need to do...
Both motors need to come down to the Clark board & plug in, and the black switch needs to plug into the extensions in the switch wiring. The 'bigger' switch on top in your picture, with the black and red wire, is useless and you don't need it.
Read my guide. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| I am it would seem this might be why my tank wasn't work right in general due to the power going to the turret funny.... Will update tomorrow! I think the black thing inside the turret is the Ir or flash? (also would appear i need to buy some connectors...) _____________________________________________

| where did you get this tank from ask if the recoil worked you might just have to lube it up or something to me it looks like your speaker has all the wires connecting only two wires should be on there and seperated from eachother might be why mo sound _____________________________________________ |

to me it looks like your speaker has all the wires connecting only two wires should be on there and seperated from eachother might be why mo sound Ill take a look but they should be seperate, Also just took the turret apart more and the recoil screw's area to hold in has been cracked and glued back to hide the damage -_- _____________________________________________ |

| Ok that might just be it....i copied how the old speaker was set up here are some pictures......Maybe i did mess it up! On a side note the recoil unit is damaged so i have no idea what to do..........This doesn't seem exactly reliable....There is also a hot glued split d own the connector for the barrel.... lol that was part of the receiver that was under it, I am starting to wonder if i got taken on this tank.........I am slowly looking for more hot glue all over to see if anything else is broken. _____________________________________________ |

| If you clean that up and use some super glue it will be good as new. | Well i think my board might be cooked....... I have lost my ability to control my tank at all.....But power is flowing so i am pretty confused as to what is going on.
As much as i hate to say it this might of been a bad purchase and beyond my ability to get running. (I have to go find the multi-meter to check out the batteries....) _____________________________________________ |
