Hey guys. A few of you might remember me talking about some new Speed 400 motors I ordered in from Tower Hobbies (these guys here http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJSS5)

Well I just installed them in my stock HengLong metal gearbox Panzer 4. 

WOW. Talk about a surprisingly fast tank. I'm going to just guess that I have nearly DOUBLED the speed of my tank over flat ground. 

Now there's always a tradeoff and I've probably lost some rough terrain maneuverability.. but I'm going to try this setup out for a while. 

...those of you with the steel 4:1 gears will see the full benefit of these motors. Ever see a KV-2 fly off a jump?
