So I'm watching some of the combat videos posted on RCU regarding Danville and see a lot of Tamiya/Impact Apples being used, which is good. I also see a metric boat ton of super spin/insta turning tanks... Only a few look to be "brake steering" setup which of course is more realistic for the most part... The instant forwards/back is apparent as well. Good thing Danville has no really hard terrain to traverse (aka grass), huge setup however. Great looking venue...

Yea, I really don't think the herky jerky way they battle is much fun. They are pretty strict on testing IR systems including apples. Still would be fun to go there once to try it out...
