| Its a SU-152 guys........ KV chassis and same superstructure as ISU-152. Nick name "Beast Killer" for taking out Tigers and Elephants at Kurst. The 100 lb projectile basically knock the turret off Tigers and Panthers, and give the elephant crew concussion although most of the Elephant can be repaired.
There should be another picture of the SU-100 at the meet.

| Look at the size of those road wheels !Over rough terrain you might think they would act as a brake on the underside of the upper track.Oh well, those Russkies in the picture look pretty confident, I guess it works |

The idea is that the top of the road wheels act as upper track roller guides but you are right, not alot of suspension travel. |

ROAD WHEELS! Hey kaptain Jack, trust me, it is NOT a chopped T34. I built it. It is a HL KV-1 chassis with a Juckenburg SU-152 kit. The SU-100 is also mine and it is a chopped WSN T34/85 with a SU-100 kit bolted on top. MikeC. |

| Mike, I must admit you where right. I guess my arrogance, because I grew up in the former USSR,after war world two, on the military base littered with hundreds of T34, took over. But in spite of the fact that you supposed to remember things from your childhood better then current events, they to tend to slip away as well. Mistake is mine,no matter how many hundreds of hours I spent climbing on,in and under those tanks, they remain just a sweet memory of careless childhood and my full size toys. Respectfully Jack |
