Since I do not have your talent(Mike & Greg) I opted for just putting some of the barrels in one and I am making a crate for the other one. Hach's looks good also.

Mike. What kind of ESC did you use? I'm getting in on this one late. Got a pair of the trucks on the way. Gonna fix them up for the nephews to bash. Thinking of making one into a water truck.

It has a brake function, but no sound. I don't care for sound and this one is small enough that you don't need to use the bed for anything. It sits underneath the cab where the old electronics used to be. It will work with the stock battery (you do need to switch the connector) and works with all the standard receivers. I used the receiver to power the lights and the steering servo.

Next Heng Long trick, not a 6x6, but a Russian Gaz-66 truck with a canvas cover !
OK. That is cool. I actually like it more than the original.

To bad it is toy grade, not hobby grade...
The only 1/16 hobby grade military vehicle is this one. Very rare, I found one on eBay. If you are interested we can chat. I have fix it all up and ready to roll. Like new.

What's radio you use with ESC on your truck Mike?
Just my Turnigy 9XR with Heng Long T6A receiver. It doesn't matter what radio you have as long as you have the matching receiver.
Drives the same way as my tanks basically.

I am planning on using a spare Traxxas T/R combo. Got to be better than the stock POS!

hey guys ,got my 2 trucks yesterday. watch outfor the hidden costs. I was charged $ 50 s/h+ 30 duty ( because it was sent through a US broker) So I guess what I'm sayin is , don't get to close to my expensive ,overpriced trucks PS: not a word to Norma. ; )

I'm guessing they shipped with courier and not regular mail. Couriers are always rob you big time. I once had to pay UPS $20 handling for a $5 can motor....

New tires for WWII era look with single in the front and two pairs in the back. Not too sure if I am keeping it this way, but I can always pop the original tires back in !
