We can use this thread to co-ordinate any meet ups outside of the official work days to get a head start on getting the field ready. So if anyone is going to the field just post up the time and perhaps we can get a small crew together.

Wednesday the weather looks great and Wojtek will be there,but for me this Saturday we can do the whole day.

Wojtek and I are going to be at the field from 2 on wednesday. Going to be making decisions on the locations of the bridges etc. if anybody wants to come out to give some input

View of new river. Much wider with a more realistic and usable slope on the south side. Bridges/flags are just in rough positions but the 2 that will be at the far end are going to be really cool as they will split off from the outer road into a Y over the river. Saturday we are putting in the new roads leading through what will be a very expanded farm area which will eventually have a lot more real trees and farm buildings. The Cathedral/town site will be moved into the corner closest to the house with the Cathedral being on the high elevation where the water tank is and the town surrounding it on both sides of the brick roads. The airfield will be moved to where the townsite is now and a second village can take up it's old position. This allows for much easier maneuvering of the tanks through the tight roads and buildings as they are close to the edge of the field. The really heavy work has been done. We can get a huge jump on finishing the one side of the river on Saturday if we could get a couple of people just to help out with light stuff

It’s raining pretty steadily here now so that might help settle the work you did yesterday.

It’s raining pretty hard now and will continue for a few more hours; is there a flood plain planned for the reworked riverbed in the new shallow sections?

If able, I’ll check it out tomorrow and post up some pix.

Fortunately this year the bulk of the field covering other than where it has been dug out is actually sand. So far less mud to contend with to get stuff laid down when this crap melts

Has the snow all melted from the field? Need to get a lot of stuff done before we have the official workday
