| As of today, Aug. 20th, weather looks good, with a chance of rain Thurs. but a dry Friday and Sat.
The ground is dry here and "solid" so even a bit of rain Thurs. will not be a prob.
I am on vacation, so I can take my time Fri. afternoon to make sure we have the grass cut and ready for Sat.
Just keep watching the forum and website for updates, so far, so good. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| The rain that was forecast for today did not amount to anything, here.
Tomorrow is supposed to be good.
Sat. forecast as of tonight; Sunny, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Ian and I finished preparing the field, this afternoon. Everything is in good shape, grass is cut short all the way back into the area where the tents are set up. Everything is good to go. | Wayne and I checked the field at about 11:00 this morning.
The ground is still pretty solid in spite of the rain.
The rain is supposed to let up by dinner time and things should be in good shape as it dries up after that. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Unfortunately, we will have to cancel for the weekend of Nov. 9th & 10th because the field is in no condition to prepare or use.
We have received 3.36 inches of rain in the last 7 days, 3/4 inches fell last night., and the weather is not good for drying.
I checked the field out today and it is completely water saturated, with ares covered with standing water, even if it does not rain for the next couple days, it will not dry out enough to use. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Well, it is a BMW, made 80 years after Kursk, but I was doing some re-con on it, today. Bad news, the field is not ready for maintenance or use right now. Good News, it was not as bad as I thought, no surface water, except in the creeks, but it is a bit "spongy". Right now, it is 50/50, it may dry up for April 26th. I will need to keep an eye on it to see how things are going, this week. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
